Quad Pod with the Pod Squad is an effort to bring you the voices of Bonita Vista High School in an intimate format. We base our series off of Anthony Ponce’s Chicago-based Backseat Rider, where he spends the week asking his Lyft riders an engaging question, topical and universal, and then letting those riders narrate their own stories.

Our first episode is inspired by the two Ponce sessions we attended at the JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention in Chicago on Saturday, November 3. We hope you like it. I listened to the podcast. It was very interesting and inspirational. Listening to students talk about their experiences motivated me to get up in the mornings too 🙂

I’m excited for Episode 2! The first episode shared some truly moving stories and was very well produced. I appreciate how the podcast really centers on BVH, including stories from students and teachers, as well as using music made by BVH students.
