On Nov. 14, the Bonita Vista High (BVH) Lady Barons girls' varsity flag football team beats Calexico High School (CHS) Bulldogs at home in the semi-finals of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division I Championship tournament. In the first half of the game, BVH defensive back, wide receiver and junior Jamiya Valenciano (8) catches a deep pass and celebrates her touchdown.
