Freshman: AJ Cortez (Boys’ Lacrosse)

“A player that I look up to is my teammate and captain for both football and lacrosse, Caden Ada-Tannehill, because overall he’s a very good player. The skill set that he has is very good and I’m inspired to play the game like him. His athleticism and quality of play makes me want to get better at both football and lacrosse.”

Sophomore: Nico Wise (Track and Field)

“Someone that I look up to is my brother, Anthony Wise, because him and I both run track and spend a lot of our time improving our game together. I’ve seen how good of a track athlete that he is, and it really inspires me to improve at the sport too.“

Junior: Gabriella Currin (Girls’ Beach Volleyball)

“I look up to Dana Rettke, she is a professional volleyball player who has good drive and did a lot to improve from where she started. I really appreciate how she’s worked to improve from her high school years all the way to college.”

Senior: Kajah Smith (Girls’ Swim)

“I look up to our team captain Sarah Hardin, who’s one of the fastest swimmers that I’ve ever seen. She works so hard, really nice and she’s a team player [because she makes] sure everyone is good and everything is organized. She especially helped me when I was clueless on the team because I joined it so late in the season.”
