On April 30, the Bonita Vista High (BVH) Lady Barons girls' lacrosse team held their senior night where they vanquished the Mar Vista Mariners 18-3. In the first quarter of the game, BVH senior attacker Presely Alarcon (3) lobs a shot into the goal.

I am currently a senior at Bonita Vista High and this is my second year on staff as a Features Editor. I was previously the Videographer and chose to keep working with the Crusader as a result of the connections that I made as well as the pride I hold in the publication. I am a senior at Bonita Vista High (BVH) and a Sports Editor for the Crusader. I joined staff in the second semester of last year on a whim and became a Staff Writer. I joined newspaper to further expand my writing skills, build school-wide connections through interviews and apply my amateur knowledge of art to creating graphics for the publication. As I continued my journey into the journalistic world, I discovered my passion for sportswriting, which motivated me to apply for the Sports Editor position this year. Aside from the Crusader, I am also a member of BVH’s varsity co-ed wrestling team, as well as the Secretary for BVH’s Artisan Club.
