On September 16, Bonita Vista girls flag football competes against Eastlake in an away game. The lady barons finish off with a score of 44-0. Players and head coach, Larry Schoen, were interviewed after their win and asked insightful and light-hearted questions about their game against their rival school.

Hello! I am a senior at BVH, and I am new this year on the Crusader staff. My positions on staff are Center Page Spread and Staff Artist. I joined the newspaper because I wanted to get exposure in my community and step out of my comfort zone. I have a passion for writing and I wanted to get my voice out there. I am grateful for the relationships and bonds that I have formed with my fellow staff members. Outside of newspaper, I am a midfielder on our school’s varsity lacrosse team. I am also a part of our Samahan club, Baron Buddies and Key Club.

I am a senior at BVH and this is my first year on staff for the Crusader. I am currently the Features Editor, Photographer and Videographer on staff. I initially joined newspaper because I wanted to improve my writing skills and meet new people. I am hopeful, as the Crusader is a great opportunity to acquire new and valuable skills I might not have gained elsewhere. Outside of school I enjoy volunteering at my church and occasionally learn new songs on the piano.
