Hi! I am a senior at BVH, and this is my first year on the Crusader staff. My primary position is Podcast Manager, and my supplementary positions are Staff Writer and Podcast Host. I joined newspaper because I wanted to be surrounded by a community of talented writers. I have always loved writing, especially poetry and creative nonfiction, but was afraid to pursue it, as I was discouraged by those around me since writing “doesn’t make a living.” However, I want to pursue my dream of being a writer no matter what anyone else says. I hope to gain experience and further knowledge of writing through newspaper. Outside of newspaper, I am a member of the TEDx club and I am also a part of an organization called teens4teenshelp, where teenagers give advice and mental health support to other teenagers. Additionally, I enjoy reading and listening to music. My favorite artists are Mitski, Faye Webster and Frank Ocean.

Fun fact: I have 10 pets and love chicken parmesan sandwiches
