On May. 2, the Bonita Vista High (BVH) Barons boys' varsity baseball team took on the Otay Ranch High (ORH) Mustangs in a twelve inning battle, ending in a 3-2 victory. BVH shortstop and senior Luis Sosa (6) celebrates after the Barons take down the Mustangs in order to end the top half of the inning.

On April 10, the Bonita Vista High (BVH) Barons boys' varsity baseball team battled the West Hills High (WHH) Wolfpack in a one sided victory. BVH shortstop, second baseman and senior Luis Sosa (6) hits the ball into deep left field for his second double of the game.
