On May. 2, the Bonita Vista High (BVH) Barons boys' varsity baseball team took on the Otay Ranch High (ORH) Mustangs in a twelve inning battle, ending in a 3-2 victory. BVH shortstop and senior Luis Sosa (6) celebrates after the Barons take down the Mustangs in order to end the top half of the inning.

On Apr. 25, the Bonita Vista High (BVH) Barons boys' varsity volleyball team took on the Mar Vista High (MVH) Mariners in a senior night thriller. BVH libero and senior Noah Kircher (3) goes to serve in hopes of getting the last point the Barons need to win the set.

On May. 15, the Bonita Vista High (BVH) Barons boys' varsity baseball team took on the Helix High School (HHS) Highlanders in a seven inning nailbiter, ending in a 2-3 loss. The BVH team is visibly excited after they score the game tying run in the bottom of the sixth.

On Nov. 3, the Bonita Vista High (BVH) varsity team challenged Coronado High (CHS) at home for the first round of the California Interscholastic Federation playoffs (CIF). At the seven minute mark in the second quarter, the BVH defensive line queues up against the Islanders offensive line. BVH attempts to pressure the Islander's Quarterback in hopes that he will fumble the ball.
