I am a senior at Bonita Vista High and this is my first year as a staff member for the Crusader. I am extremely excited to be News Editor this year and to work closely with my fellow staff members. I joined the Crusader because I know how important it is to give voice to people who otherwise may not have it. I have always loved writing but I have a deep adoration for editing because it is important to get a point across clearly and artistically. Outside of newspaper, I enjoy reading, gardening, and volunteering with the Civitan Foundation.
