Maddie Almodovar, Opinion Editor
My name is Madison, but I prefer Maddie and use she/her pronouns. As a junior, this is my first year in the Crusader, and I hold the position of Opinion Editor! I took a heavy interest in journalism because I have a personal love of creative writing and I figured I could use my skills in creative writing to reach a greater audience. Some extracurriculars I participate in include the Junior Optimist Club, drama, and TEAM tutoring. This year, I hope to spread awareness in the words I choose to express through journalism and encourage others to be active in our community.
