I am a junior at Bonita Vista High and this is my first year on the Crusader as the Opinion Copy Editor. I joined journalism to grow my skills in writing and communication which will open doors to more opportunities in the future. Journalism will enable me to take on challenges and build my confidence in trying new things. Outside of the Crusader, I enjoy playing volleyball, playing the guitar and reading. I also take on the role as Secretary for Bonita Vista High’s Promotion of Women in Leadership club.
