On Sep. 18, many Bonita Vista High (BVH) students gather inside of the local Starbucks and await pickup, talk, to friends, or keep to themselves. Many BVH students enjoy going to Starbucks for their products, but its not uncommon for some students to stay in the shop and not buy anything.

BVH classrooms continue to feel the effects of Hurricane Hilary such as water leaks even weeks after the hurricane has passed. Accelerated Biology, Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) Environmental Science teacher Michelle Mardhals classroom is closed due to construction, resulting in her having to teach elsewhere.
