I am a senior and this is my first year on staff for the Crusader as an Opinion Editor. I am excited to develop creative pages and collaborate with other staff members. I joined newspaper because I wanted to explore my interests and try something new. In my free time, I enjoy journaling and find newspaper to be an extension of that. Outside of the Crusader, I am Secretary for the Samahan club and a member of the Youth For A Sustainable Future club on campus.

BVH is bringing more established and experienced teachers into the district. BVH principal Lee Romero explains how as a principal, one of my responsibilities is to prepare and train our Assistant Principals to become directors or principals. Several teachers on campus are seeking positions as Assistant Principals. While this is a positive change for many staff members who may be moving up the ranks or relocating for a brighter and better future, gaps are left in the wake of these staff members.
