On Oct. 19, Professional Marching Band Composer, Arranger and Designer Luke McMillan helped BVH Club Blue in performing one of his marching band shows. Club Blue has been working on this show since the beginning of the year and McMillan is now here to make final additions and adjustments.

On Oct. 23, the Bonita Vista High (BVH) varsity girls’ flag football team played a home game against Grossmont High School (GHS). Tensions were at an all time high during the half as BVH was losing 0-6, but after getting fired up in the huddle the team made an epic come back with a 12-6 win.

On Oct. 14, the Bonita Vista High (BVH) performance band Club Blue performed a musical showcase alongside fellow schools of the district such as Eastlake High (EHS) and Mira Mesa High (MMH). Club Blue used this showcase to provide a visual sense of pride BVH has to offer.

On Oct. 16, Bonita Vista High’s (BVH) Key Club hosts a blood drive in partnership with the Red Cross at BVH. BVH student Mia Andrada-herrera donates her blood in the truck and is given a 15 dollar amazon gift card and community service hours as an outcome for donating.
