Boys basketball takes round one victory against Sage Creek

The BVH boys’ Varsity basketball team played in a home game against Sage Creek on Feb. 18.  

This was the first time in which the Barons would face Sage Creek in the CIF playoffs this season.

After playing four quarters, BVH topped Sage Creek 64-50, winning Round 1 of the CIF playoffs and being able to advance to the quarterfinals. The Barons worked hard on both offense and defense to keep the lead and finish strong.

With this win, the team continues its playoff run, showcasing their development this season. The players stayed focused and played as a team to earn the victory.

Boys’ varsity basketball will next play in an away game against Carlsbad on February 21 at 5:30 p.m.

Hi! I’m Alex Martinez and I am a photographer for newspaper this year. Something about me is I’ve been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for about four years, mostly in the TL league.
