I am a senior at Bonita Vista High  and this is my second year on the Crusader. Last year I was an Arts and Culture Editor and this year I am the Features CPS (center page spread) Editor.  I initially joined newspaper because I’ve always had a passion for writing. I stayed because of how quickly I grew to love journalism, the class environment and the relationships I built with my fellow staff members. I strongly believe that journalists are such a vital part of a community, and how journalism is an art that will always be important in our society. I am looking to continue this passion in the future. Outside of newspaper, I participate in field hockey and lacrosse, I am also the  Vice President of Task Force and Co-president of the Hiking Club.
