Hey there! I'm Mayah Cerecer, and I'm a senior attending Bonita Vista High School. This is my first year on staff for the Crusader and my current position is “Opinion copy editor”.  I joined the Crusader because of not only my love for journalism but also because of the community that had been built within the four walls of a classroom. Though, my interests also expand beyond writing, for example advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, engineering and caring for children. Not to mention, I was also a part of the CVPD Cadet program for a year.
