Maddie Almodovar

Maddie Almodovar, Editor-in-Chief

This year, I am co-Editor-in-Chief for 2022-2023.  I’m a senior and a second-year Crusader  staff member. Last year, I enjoyed my time serving as Opinion Editor; as a student journalist, I value advocacy and reporting on the truth. I plan to major in Journalism and report on local events in my community. I’m most proud of my behind the scenes work on the start of the composting program last year and the almost-cancellation of Morp. I’m involved with Junior Optimist, Task Force, Progressive Club and dabble in theater. I love to read and write creatively, which led me to Newspaper in the first place!
